We embedded various circuits into our self-developed ASIC to decrease the number of components within and thus elevate product reliability. This ASIC possesses the advantages of analog systems, reacting fast in the face of unexpected conditions with no shutdowns. By cooperating with the digital MCU, both ASIC and MCU pick up and harness its advantages to considerably enhance the safety and dimming features.
When unexpected situations appear, the Kaoyi ASIC will first cease all dimmer operations, then deliver signal to MCU to shut down the whole system to instantly ensure component safety .
Virtually every dimming issue has to do with noise or zero off-set. Kaoyi ASIC can first filter out most of the noises. The MCU will subsequently optimizes the waveform through programming. By doing so, the smoothest dimming curve without any flashes during dimming can be achieved, and thus the dimming range and the load compatibility can be broadly widened.
